Why do I screw up, even when I try to do things right?
A great picture book to read when you feel like giving up.
Who is the bravest person in the world? The one who defeats a terrifying villain and saves everybody? Or someone who is not afraid of ghosts that give you the goosebumps every time you look at them? Everybody's answers will be different because everybody has different fears. But the most difficult person to deal with is easier to agree upon. Someone you are so used to because you go everywhere with them, although at times still a mystery. It's "me, myself." We spend our lives trying to overcoming our desire to wake up late in the morning, to leave our homework til another day or to just give up on something. It may look simple, but it's one of the most difficult things we do.
Antie, What Will You Be When You Grow Up? is a picture book about Antie, who finds a solution to the that every body experiences at least once in their lives: "himself." Why am I like this? Why can't I do it? Every now and then, "me" makes me fall into a deep frustration. But only I can truly save myself from "me," not my parents nor friends. The power of staying positive to oneself and becoming immune to sadness is portrayed in Antie, What Will You Be When You Grow Up? Children who read this picture book can feel their hearts become a little stronger.
