This picture book captures the author's childhood memories of a narrow and crooked alleyway where more alleys existed than today. It is a warm picture book that captures his memories of being frightened by a barking puppy and always feeling scared by it when passing by. When walking down the alley with a friend, a world full of imagination is added to the familiar landscape.
