About the Author

Kim, Yong-taek



Born in Jinme Village (Imsil, North Jeolla Province), Kim Yong-taek (M) became an elementary school teacher at 21. He taught children at the Deokchi Elementary School in Imsil while writing poetry at the same time. Children and nature were always main themes and characters in his writing. After retirement, Kim went back to his hometown. He now lives in beautiful natural area and write simple, yet touching poems and prose with the themes of rural villages and nature.
