Il s’agit d’un album qui raconte l'histoire dans lequel un enfant qui aime le conte de fées, Alice au pays des merveilles, devient le protagoniste d'une aventure et voyage un monde étrange. Ce livre exprime un monde unique dans lequel l'Occident et l'Orient, le passé et le présent sont mélangés en utilisant des techniques de Minhwa moderne (terme coréen désignant les images d'art populaire). Sa technique de collage à déchirer, couper et coller divers matériaux réalise richement le monde fantastique. C'est un album pour les enfants qui veulent s'échapper de la réalité ennuyeuse et devenir les protagonistes d'aventures, et pour les adultes qui veulent montrer le monde fantastique aux enfants qui rêvent d'aventure.

童話『不思議の国のアリス』が好きな子供が冒険の主人公となり、珍しい世界を経験する絵本。 作家は韓国の伝統的な民話を現代的に新しく解釈し、西洋と東洋、過去と現在が絡む独創的な世界を表現した。 多様な材料を引き裂いて貼り付けるコラージュ技法は幻想の世界を豊かに支える。
(English) JIO in Wonderland
A little girl who loves Alice in Wonderland find herself in an adventure and visits the marvelous world.
The author, Eun mi, used a unique drawing style in her previous book, Weird and Strange Circus. In this book, she uses modern Korean folk paintings to express a creative world in which East and West, past and present are mixed together.
The collage technique, which involves tearing, cutting out, and attaching different materials, creates fantastic images of the magical world created by the author.

(French) Elle a passé son enfance obsédée par les livres dans lesquels des choses étranges et fantastiques se passent au hasard. À l'époque, elle voudrait être une écrivaine comme un lapin blanc qui invite les gens au pays des merveilles. Elle a écrit et dessiné cirque pittoresque et bizarre.
(Japanese) 不思議で幻想的な出来事が何気なく起こる本にはまって子供時代を過ごした。あの時代、著者は人々を「不思議な国」に招く白ウサギのような作家になりたかった。現在は、不思議な生き物が暮らす奇妙な世界を描き、多くの人々を絵本の国に招待したい、欲深い人として生きている。書き描いた本に『奇妙なサーカス』がある。
(English) During childhood, Eun mi was really into books where mysterious, and fantastic events happened naturally. At that time, she wanted be the kind of writer who invited people into the wonderland, like the white rabbit.
Now she is an ambitious writer, who trying to draw a mysterious world with weird creatures and then invite her many friends into her picture book land. She wrote and illustrated Weird and Strange Circus.
