Overview

The first book on coding. This book asks not “how,” but “why” and “what.”

Book Intro

Coding, the technology used to make software, creates programs by utilizing the language that computers can understand. Coding is applied not only to applications for Smartphones or operating systems, but also to variety of games, communication tools, and electronic products that we can often find and easily use in our everyday lives. Coding is an essential part of the Fourth Industrial Revolution that allows us to have a new perspective.
Learning the language for coding and programming doesn't mean that you will be able to possess every bit of knowledge surrounding coding. Coding: The Letters That Make the World provides a systematic and detailed explanation on what coding is and why we need it. This book is the first educational book on coding that distinguishes itself from other practical handbooks or books related to computer technology, as these books consist of the coding method and step-by-step guidelines. Deviating from this path, this book explains the necessity of coding, the difference between programming and coding, and the language related to computers and programming, which is essential for coding. This book will also help readers understand the bit-based world of 0s and 1s.
